Your tVNS® R device comes with a starter pack that includes everything you need to get started with tVNS® clinical studies. We also offer custom electrode options for sham stimulation or fMRI use. Please contact us for your special accessory needs.

All technical parameters can be easily reprogrammed and wirelessly transmitted using the tVNS® Research application, enabling researchers to experiment with entirely new stimulation protocols. Additionally, it allows for the collection and storage of technical and patient data.

The tVNS® Patient application automatically records all technical data (stimulation parameters, timing, and duration of stimulation, etc.) and provides a survey for patient feedback.

We offer individualized adaptation of all components for the implementation of specific stimulation parameters or technical concepts.

The tVNS® R device is designated for research purposes. To assist with ethical approvals, we provide a CB report demonstrating compliance with all medical device standards.

Additionally, we provide access to an international network of experts and can direct inquiries to experienced professionals worldwide.

Triggered tVNS®

We provide a dedicated PC-based tVNS® management software. This software allows for responses to external trigger signals (e.g., ECG R-wave triggers generated by an external ECG system and transmitted to a PC).

This enables the implementation of closed-loop tVNS® or triggered tVNS® in a scientific setup.

Legacy and Hook Electrode

We offer two distinct types of electrode designs with our tVNS® devices:

  • Hook Electrode (left): Recommended for adults and ears with standard anatomy. It provides better stability during daily activities.

  • Legacy Electrode (right): Suitable for ears of all sizes. It can be used when the patient is mobile or receiving treatment while lying down.

Sham Stimulation

The well-known sham stimulation of the earlobe is possible with the tVNS legacy electrode. On request, we support studies by offering other more advanced sham stimulation options.
